Ulysse Nardin founded his company in 1846. Sea chronographs manufactured by the brand were of highquality and this contributed to great success of the company.

The new period in the company’s history began in 1983 when the company lost its popularity and was bought by Rolf Schneider. Though Rolf Schneider did not know much about watches, he contributed much to the brand’s popularity by partnership with the such great watch makers as Ludwig Oechslin.
Ludwig Oechslin managed to convince Schneider, who was looking for new ideas, to start manufacture of astronomic chronographs. Thus cooperation between two great personalities started and it resulted in birth of the brilliant trilogy: Tellurium Johannes Kepler, Astrolabium Galileo Galilei and Planetarium Nicolas Kopernicus. These timepieces amaze by their great design and interesting complications.
The Perpetual Ludovice GMT is known as one of the cutest Ulysse Nardin timepieces, this wristwatch has second time zone and also other complications.
